TPP WHEELCHAIR INITIATIVE
Few days ago, we received a proposal with two separate demands from the leadership of a group made up of persons with physical disabilities. Their first demand is for TPP to help establish some businesses or offer a skill training for their members and also provide them with wheelchairs to enhance their social functioning.
As inclusive as our helping process is, we decided to invite the general public to help in acquiring as many wheelchairs as possible to make movement very easy for these people whilst we deal with the startup packages for some of them. Fortunately, some individuals have taken steps to provide some of the wheelchairs.
A staunch member of The People’s project China chapter contacted a Chinese company to ship ten new wheelchairs to us. Aside him, a gentleman in Kumasi is also donating one wheelchair making a total of eleven chairs. We need more people on board to add to the numbers. Let’s do this for our brothers and sisters who were born different but unique in their own way and also, for those of them who suffered misfortunes.
It is said that, If you talk about a problem without providing a solution, you are part of the problem.
